Recording does not work

Using this on an iPad mini and iPhone 5s. The remote connections (wifi and bluetooth) all works fine. Taking remote pictures works fine. The only feature that I wanted to work does not and that is remote recording. I press the record button, the session starts, press stop recording, and a message tells me the recording is saved on the remote device. Nothing, nadda, zip, zero!

Please fix or refund my purchase. Thank you!
